Cleaning

The cleaning process of area rugs involve a very special process. We first use a huge German-made machine to suck out all the dust. We then test the rug for color fastness. If the rug has a smell or odor, we neutralize it in order to eliminate it. We then submerge and soak the rug in water. Finally we dry up the rug in the sun which gives it a more vibrant and beautiful look.

Unfortunately, some spots such as pet stains may not be removed since the colors of the wool may have been permanently changed. It vital to have your rug picked up and cleaned as soon as you notice the pet stain.

It is very important to have your rug cleaned every 2-3 years. Moths and other insects love eating on all types of rugs, old or new. Don’t settle for average carpet type cleaning on your rugs, we have all rugs washed professionally by hand!

Repair

Whether your rug needs reweaving, restoring or has water rot, moth damage, holes, bald spots, etc, we will match your wool and restore the rug as close as possible to its original look. We receive rug repairs from some of the biggest companies all over the US!

Similar to a spot on a rug, if you notice any damage on your rug you should have it repaired as early as possible because the longer the damage remains, the more it will open up.
